Its a Saturday and that means no school, yippee!!! We dropped of Kayla to the usual drop off place where her mommy was waiting. With Kayla spending the weekend at her mom means i get to stay in bed. Waking up past 7:30 a.m. is a luxury for parents with school age children. I woke up to use the bathroom at around 6:22 and went right back to bed, well not exactly to bed. More of on the floor in my daughter’s room since Kaitlyn woke up past 2 a.m in the morning crying, wouldn’t go back to sleep so i decided to put her on the sleeping bag that i have had there for 3 months now and laid down with her.

I savoured every minute that passed after 6 a.m. it was like i was in a trance of slumber-land. The baby didn’t start stirring beside me until past 7 a.m. , still i kept on sleeping and end up getting a big surprise when i finally woke up. Kaitlyn’s clothes, toys and other stuff was all around me. She took out all the clothes from the bottom drawers. I couldn’t get mad when she looked at me smiling and saying mama! It was my own fault for sleeping in while she was awake. A big mess was my reward for sleeping in,lol. Good thing i don’t have any markers around in the baby’s room or i would have end up with markers all over my face.

Tomorrow i still get to sleep in but got to wake up husband shortly before 7 for his overtime at work. I’m his personally alarm clock,lol. He will only be gone for a couple of hours. And we get Kayla back tomorrow as well. Could i still sleep in tomorrow? I guess i’ll just have to make sure that the baby stays in her crib tonight so i can sleep in a little bit extra tomorrow. Wish me luck!!!
