I made a sandwich for Ralph tonight for work. His getting ready as we speak, he is still sore and achy from painting the sandbox and the wood border of the swimming pool. Its no surprise Oreo is following him wherever he goes, he is still avoiding me,lol.. He knows that I’m still upset about the fiasco with the toilet paper. Smokey the fat bully cat however still doesn’t pass a chance to chase him around the house and beat him up. Poor Oreo but he has to learn to get some backbone and stand his ground so Smokey wont bully him anymore.

Smokey has been deemed the mean, stoic, unfriendly cat. If he doesn’t like you he will hiss and swipe at you. Surprisingly he has been the gentlest and the nicest pet around my 11 month old daughter. It was always my fear that Smokey will try and take a swipe at the baby. He has been nothing but sweet to my daughter, that’s why she feel-in love with Smokey in the process. Every-time she sees him she always goes to him and puts her head down on whatever part of the body she can. Smokey hates when people touches his back,period. But, he lets my daughter touch him, push him, pokes, and even if she pounds on his stomach he still hasn’t shown any anger or aggression towards the baby. Mother-in-law is still not sure about Smokey and we always watch the baby around the him.

On the other hand the dog Nikkie owned my MIL is the one that been known to bark at and even bared her teeth at the baby. I don’t know, dogs just scares me,they have such big teeth. Nikkie is a small dog though and a very prissy one, she hates it when you touch her feet and she is just i don’t know,not good with the baby. Doesn’t let the baby touch her. Still, every-time my daughter sees Nikkie she tries to kiss her and tries to give her hugs and likes to lay down beside her, so far no success. I guess Nikkie is unsure about the baby and is keeping her distance until she knows she can be trusted.

But, back to Smokey while making the sandwich i found him in the laundry basket snug as a bug.

 The second time i caught him in the act, eating the food of his enemy!

 That’s why he never looses weight coz he has food upstairs and in MIL room. I just hope that Smokey will stay as sweet and as nice to the baby, doesn’t matter if he is mean to anyone else just not the baby. Next time ill try to capture more pictures of our pets caught in the act.
