FAMILY WALK
Mornings are getting chillier and colder as each day pass. Waking and not seeing the sun is quite how would you call it, disappointing. I associate gloominess,outcast days as cold and freezing. Its a Monday and i had to walk Kayla to the bus stop since daddy is still at work and may not be able to be home in time. Thank goodness for MIL who wakes up to watch the baby for me while we leave for the bus stop. The chilled hit me right on the face as soon as we walked out the door. We held hands and was walking when we got a surprise. It was daddy’s police car, he did get home just in time!
Since we didn’t get far from the driveway Kayla ran to her daddy, he wanted to take her in the police car since the bus stop was just around the corner.. I told him no, since I’m already dressed and out in the cold might as well walk her together. We walked side by side with Kayla holding on to each of our hand. I could tell she was so happy that we got to walk with her. When we got there she told her daddy to be there to pick her up in the afternoon. As i wrote before she already designated me as the morning walker and daddy the afternoon walker,lol..Luckily daddy wont be in to work until 11 pm tonight.
In the afternoon when she gets home, i try and make it a point to have Kaitlyn wait for her Manang (big sister) by the door. Kayla usually comes home a little bit sad for she misses school, but she perks up right away as soon as she sees her sister waiting for her. Kaitlyn, would pound on the glass door as soon as she spots Kayla and just keeps pointing and babbling about. Once inside they chase each other around the house. Yes, Kaitlyn is only 11 months but she is very smart and she plays hide and seek with Kayla. She is like Kayla’s shadow which is endearing but annoying for her at times,specially when she is coloring or drawing. Having a sister pulling on your book and coloring at the same time is hard!!
Well, its another day tomorrow, i better sign off and get some much needed rest.Its going to be cold, dressing up warm and snug as a bug is the key,lol.
