I feel like i have gone from my high ranking position to the lowest of all lows, lol. Before the baby i was like a supervisor to Kayla. I overlooked everything, thought i was past and done with picking after toys. I use to come downstairs to find the family scattered with toys and Ralph sleeping sprawled on the couch while Kayla is int he middle to the mess. Being that he is asleep he could only see to his dismay when he wakes up what his daughter was about. He would try to encourage and help Kayla cleaning after her toys. It was hard at first as she didn’t want to pick up after herself. Then i started my Martial Law so to speak. She will only get one toy at a time and she will return the toy when she is done and get another one to play with. It worked out real good as she followed and if she did play with a lot of toys all at one time she knew she has to pick up her toys and store them away or else i wouldn’t be happy. What can i say,I’m the big big disciplinarian in our home. Daddy is such a softy when it comes to his girls, He is the good cop while im always the bad cop. To his credit he does discipline but not as much as i would want to.

Now, back to my demotion. I was the supervisor before now i have been demoted to the ALL AROUND MAID. I leave Kayla and Kaitlyn in the family room clean and spotless, come back 5 minutes later and its a wreck! Its not Kayla making the mess mind you but the little one!. She is a little terror and so mischievous. Now, all i do is clean up after her. Good thing Kayla is at her age where she is my big helper. She would help me clean up and pick up after her sister and she keeps her occupied. They both love each other but they are just kids and kids fight,lol. I cant wait until Kaitlyn starts to really understand, Kayla my little helper is such a big blessing. My demotion sucks but when they smile and give me hugs and kisses be it slobbery all my grumpiness and exhaustion just disappears.

Some day in maybe, about 6 yrs from now ill be promoted to being the supervisor or the manager, since they will be old enough to do things for themselves.
