CLEANEST MOUTH?
With kids its unavoidable that they will eventually put something in there mouth. At least with a 5 yr. old you can tell them and they know what is dirty and what is clean, with a year old its like talking to a wall. No matter how much you say no or scream no they will still put anything and everything they think are edible be it a leaf, a bug, sand, paper, rock and the list just goes on. You have keep a constant watch on them and never take your eyes for a second. The little toddler tykes are sneaky, mischievous little things. You may think they don’t understand but they do, they just refuse and just follow what they want. I have taken out a lot of things from my daughter’s mouth and its no fun, the only consolation is she doesn’t have any teeth,lol..We have pets in the house and of course with that comes the fur, the getting knocked over and the licking.
I’m a cat lover but i also like dogs, don’t get me wrong dog lovers but i just prefer cats more than anything else. In my opinion cats don’t smell even if they don’t get a bath, they are the most independent creature i know and seldom do they lick. The licking part i don’t really like. We were visiting my brother-in-law one time and they have two dogs, one is a golden retriever and the other one is a beagle,i think. The big dog licked the baby right on the mouth and i just screamed! I just rushed to my daughter and washed her mouth in the sink, lol…. I know, I know the dog lover out there will say that ” dogs have the cleanest mouth” . Ralph nephew wondered why i got so spastic about it, lol and proceeded to inform me about the ” dogs having one of the cleanest mouth” I then said to him, “I beg to differ, something that licks its butt will never qualify as anything with the cleanest mouth to me”. No offense to dog lovers out there but its just my mother’s instinct kicking in i guess.
With the baby mobile and about now, she cannot be left alone. She is lucky that my MIL dog doesn’t go near her for i would be constantly on guard watching and waiting if the dog will try and lick her. Its just not the licking as well its also the biting, have you seen a dogs mouth? They have big teeth and i don’t want to risk or even tempt faith. That is why Nikkie the dog usually remains in MIL’s extension of the house.Baby is not afraid of the pets but strive to make friends with them even if they shy away from her. Oh well, she will eventually decide if she is a cat lover or a dog lover.
