TRICK OR TREAT / OR is it PAIN AND TREAT?
Yup last night was the much awaited trick or treat for all the kids. As soon as Kayla got off the bus she was buzzing and so excited about it and couldn’t wait for her friends to come over for the pizza party. Kayla’s mother Dawnita was also here, when Kayla saw her mommy the first thing out of her mouth was
Kayla : Daddy am i leaving?
Daddy : No, sweetheart. Mommy is here for trick or treat and for your pizza party.
Kayla : I’m not leaving?
Daddy : Not yet.
Kayla : Ye-hey!
And she went out to great her mommy. However when we got inside her mommy forgot something and asked Kayla to go with her outside to get something in her car. Kayla was back in her defensive mode again.
Kayla : Mommy are we leaving? Are you taking me?
Dawnita : No Kayla-belle, not yet. Were just getting my costume out of the car.
To cut the long story short we had a nice time in spite with Ralph’s ex in the house. I actually have no problem being civil and nice to her. I want to show Kayla that me and her mommy are friends and i also don’t want Dawnita to have something against me. We got the kids eating and dressed. Kaitlyn was not feeling up to it coz she was so tired since she only got her 1 hour nap instead of her 1 hour nap. Still i was determined to have a family fun trick or treat. I put 3 layers of long sleeved shirt so i wont get cold and we had the stroller with us. We covered a lot of housed in our neighbourhood and we couldn’t take a lot of pictures coz the kids were running and were to fast for us. By the time we get to the door they have already sprinted to the next lighted house. Me and Ralph were tag team when it came to the baby since i really wanted the baby to experience trick or treat and not just stay in her stroller. After a while i decided to carry the baby around and go to the doors for trick or treat. Do you know that they give out more candies to babies? Yes, they do and they know babies cant eat it but they get kick out of watching the babies squeal in delight when they are given treats.

Because i was lugging around Kaitlyn most of the night i was so tired and so sore. My back hurt and my arms but i would not trace it for anything else. I loved it and i loved seeing other kids out there having fun. At least the kids had there TRICK OR TREAT and the parents got PAIN AND TREAT…We had pain and we treated it with Tylenol,
HAPPY HALLOWEEN AGAIN….
