FOOTBALL, BABY AND POLITICS FILLED SUNDAY
Ralph’s oldest brother Angelo and his wife Debbie came down for the day to visit Kaitlyn and us. He got here shortly after 1 p.m and right away started watching the sports channel. He didn’t want to miss his game while visiting us. I was upstairs watching NCIS and CSI when they arrived. The baby of course just went down for her daily 2 hr nap. After watching 2 episodes of CSI i came down to say hi and was immediately asked where is the baby? They are always excited to see the baby and how she will react to him again,lol.. Ralph was so tired that he went upstairs to lay down after he bought milk, rolls, Italian bread and cheese. He got home around 4 am this morning after doing a gruelling 17 hr overtime. I feel so sorry for him and i just wanted him to rest since he was also going to go out to pick up Kayla in Baltimore since that is the meeting point of drop off and pick up for visitation with her mother.
Angelo and MIL were getting antsy that the baby was still sleeping. MIL would walk around the house calling out Kaitlyn’s name hoping she would wake up,lol. I did try go up in her room to try and wake her up since she wont be sleeping if she has more than 2 hours of nap. However, when i went in her room she was sleeping so peacefully that i didn’t have the heart to wake her up. That didn’t do me any good since after about 20 min. MIL went upstairs in the baby’s room and woke her up… I was not upset at all since that baby really needed to wake up, i just teased MIL ” you had to wake her up didn’t you?” The baby was her usual self, she needs at least 15 min. to really wake up and function, or else she will stick to me like glue. It took her less than 10 min to warm up to her Uncle Angelo.
Mom, Debbie, Kaitlyn and I were stuck watching football the rest of the day. Thank God for Kaitlyn’s little antics or else we would have been bored to death watching something we didn’t understand. We had steak, parmesan cheese pasta and mixed veggies for dinner. I was glad that News was on television instead of football. Its very very interesting watching news and politics when the people around you are so passionate about their opinions,lol.. Ralph and Kayla finally arrived shortly after 7 p.m. and the fun started all over again. I was asking to myself will the day never end? The kids stayed up later than usually and by the time we got them to bed they were so bone tired that they feel asleep in less than 10 min. Tomorrow is another day and a very cold day for me since i will be walking Kayla to the bus stop tomorrow. Oh well that is life!!!!!
