LITTLE MISCHIEVOUS ENTERTAINER

Published by melodyschif at 11:24 pm under Ramblings Edit This

My youngest just turned 1 last Oct 22 and let me just say she is such a rip!! She is the constant source of entertainment for all of us, a constant sourceĀ  of trouble and mess. Yesterday MIL, baby and I went to the doctors to get our yearly flu shots. While we were waiting in the sitting room Kaitlyn was entertaining everyone there. It was mostly old people and she made them all laugh and smile with her little antics. First off she would go around the waiting area since it was quite big she would stop in front of someone and look at there shoes, smile and say something to them in baby talk language. She loves shoes and she would want to touch the shoes but i would interrupt her and say “No” she would start going around in the room again and stop in front of another person. Then all of a sudden she stops in front of the stereo and started to dance, hehe . It was so cute since she knew she had an audience and she performed and loved the attention and praise she got. I was just sitting in the corner watching her while MIL was so proud of her. She would twirl around and around, stop and do it again. Finally she had enough and went over to this old lady who was getting ready to leave. She was holding a pink sweater, Kaitlyn went over to her and started talking and even held the lady’s hand. It was so funny, endearing to watch a the baby talk to her and her replying to her as if she understood what the baby was talking about. I knew what the baby wanted, so i said to my MIL ” i know what she wants, she wants the lady’s sweater”. I had to call Kaitlyn’s attention and told her she cant play with it coz it wasnt hers, she didnt give up but kept looking up at the older lady and looking like she was trying to convince her to give her the sweater,lol.. I had to take of my sweater and i gave it to Kaitlyn of else the lady would not be able to leave but she would have none of my sweater she wanted a pink one. Since, she was wearing a pink sweater over her onesies i decided to take it off and let her play with it instead and she was happy. When we finally got to the room she had an accident and hit her head on the door. Got a very very big bump. The doctor looked at it of course. After our appointment i called Ralph and told him about his daughter’s little antics at the doctor’s office.

Today Angelo and Debbie, Ralph’s older brother suddenly showed up at the house. It didn’t take that long for Kaitlyn to warm up to her uncle and decide to show him the new dora doll i bought for her. She would go back and forth between the playroom and the family room since i was in the playroom checking my e-mails and Angelo and Debbie were watching television in the family room. At around 3 p.m. she got into a little mischief. Debbie my sister in law all of a sudden said “What are you doing Kaitlyn? Mama is not going to like what you did!” She was laughing. I immediately went over to investigate and found toilet paper in the hallway leading to the bathroom. The little sneak had toilet paper around her neck and was holding on to the toilet paper with a big goofy grin on her face. I couldn’t get angry at her with that smile on her face, it was a disaster in the bathroom. Toilet paper on the floor everywhere, i was surprise she didn’t dump the whole roll of toilet paper in the toilet. I confiscated the toilet paper and gave her a little pat on the behind, lol.. She makes a whole lot of mess in the house, one minute everything is in order and clean, the next minute it looks like a bomb exploded in the room with toys scattered around. But, she makes life interesting and keep us laughing. I guess she misses her big sister since she is with her mommy.

I wonder what she will do tomorrow, with kids around laughter, giggles are always abound.
