OF MANY FIRST
Today was spent just lazing around the house, waking up past 7:30 am and not having to rush to get Kayla to school. The nice part about it is Ralph isĀ off from work so he gets to spend time with us. Last night we did craft with the kids involving, plaster, molding and hands. I initially bought the “hand molding and picture frame kit” for Kayla and Kaitlyn so we could do there hands and hang it up the wall. We did Kayla’s first to see how it was going to be done. Kayla’s hand mold went off without a hitch and Kayla followed our instruction not to move her hand for a minute and 30 second. I highly doubt that we could make Kaitlyn hold still for that long, still we tried and failed big time. All the little one wanted to do was wiggle her fingers and squish the plaster while it was hardening. I felt sad since i really wanted to get a mold of her hand while she was a year old and keep it as a remembrance that she was that small. That was our first attempt at letting her do molding stuff, hehehe. It wont work on a toddler.
This morningĀ after waking up Ralph head straight to the store to get art supplies for Kayla’s school project which is a Turkey. She has to design it, color, paint. It has to be a family project and it was. It turned out pretty good than what i would expected, ill post pictures tomorrow. We also did painting and we made Kayla do her hands again and this time it came out much better than last nights. Kaitlyn enjoy painting with her hands so much that she had paint all over her body which prompted her to keep licking her hands. I wonder what paint tastes like? Kaitlyn has this thing about putting anything she could get her hands on her mouth. The painting and getting messy was the second of many first.
The third is Kayla has a sleep over, her first ever sleep over at age 5 with her school mate/ bus mate Kelly. Kayla was so excited the whole day asking when Kelly was coming over. When Kelly got dropped by her mommy Kayla was jumping up and down and the house was in chaos after that! Haven’t taken pictures of the girls yet but ill be sure to take lots tomorrow. Anyway, i have to get some much needed shut eye since i probably wont be able to relax tomorrow morning with 3 kids on my hands.
