TOY SHOPPING
Hurray we have already done most of the toy shopping for the kids. We still need to get a couple more toys for the baby and then that is it. Gosh toy shopping is very very draining and time consuming. You have to think about what is the right toy to get them that is fun and educational at the same time. Most of Kayla’s toys were a little bit expensive but they are educational. We went to Walmart first and got a few toys there and after that we went to toys r us. The baby was with us, thankfully she feel asleep as soon as we left Walmart so when we got to the other store she was out like a light and we just laid her down in the cart. She looked so adorable and peaceful. I found out that most of the electronic toys were the same priceĀ at Walmart but most toys at toys r us were more expensive. I am so in-love with Elmo and the baby loves it too but i just couldn’t let myself buy it since it was almost $60. Hubby got annoyed since i would just play with the toys and kept saying the baby would like this but i never put it in the cart. When we got home he told his mom that he will never go Christmas shopping with me again since i complain so much about the price, lol.. Well, why shouldn’t I? Just because its Christmas doesnt mean that we have to get them expensive toys. I still think that Kayla is little to young for expensive toys. I think toys over $25 is expensive for a 5 year old and a 13 month old.
Ralph brother Larry and his girlfriend Teresa just showed up last night. We didn’t even know he was coming since he never called to let us know that he will be coming, it was a pleasant surprise though. He went with Ralph this morning to do a ride-along since he is applying to become a cop. He seems to really love the idea of being and cop and thinks he will be a good one like Ralph. I also went to the mall with Larry’s girlfriend, didn’t but anything for myself though but i did buy something for someone. I’m not really in the mood so i guess that’s it for today.
