Hubby has been very hands on when it comes to Kayla’s education and extra curricular activities. He has always stressed out that education is important and said that all his kids will love school and get good grades. He has enrolled Kayla in Girls Scouts and has only missed 1 meeting. Some mom kind of resent the fact that he is so involved and is the only dad there amongst all the mommies. He volunteers at school and even volunteered to be the cookie dad. I thought at first it he had to make the cookies himself so i kinda said ” you volunteered what?”. He then explained to me that he will be in charge of ordering cookies, the money and the distribution of the Girls Scout cookies to all the Daisies Member. He attended the seminar and boy did he come home regretting it. He was gone for almost 2 hours and when he came home he told me that it was dis-organized. I was so tempted to say ” i told you so” but i help my tongue. I just asked if he was regretting his decision of volunteering and he said a big “yes!”. The man doing the cookie seminar had a stutter so bad that it took so long for him to finish a 15 min seminar and did not do a good job about letting the parents understand how it really works. He was so frustrated that i did not have the hear to tease him. Now, he will have second thought about volunteering for something like that ever again.
