I just watched the movie yesterday with Larry’s girlfriend. I really didn’t see the very first part of the movie but the rest was just amazing. When August Rush first came out of the theater i really didn’t want to watch it. How wrong i was, its a family movie worth watching with my kids when they are a little bit older. The music just soothed me, made me want to dance and make me want to cry at the same time. The story line is not only good but it could happen in reality. There are a lot of amazing stories how adopted or separated children find their birth parents or vice versa in a very unusual way. The part of August Rush was portrayed brilliantly by Freddie Highmore and Robin Williams played his part to the limit as well. I just love that the child “august rush” didn’t give up the hop of every finding his parents and used music as a means to find them or for them to find him. It was just a tear jerker with a very good moral lesson…And the music just pulled me into the story and made me want to listen. This movie will definitely be a sho-in for my favorite family movies.
