Somehow we really hoped that the weather prediction was wrong about rain and ice. It snowed steadily last night adding to the snow that was already on the ground. We figured that if it wont rain the snow would finally be enough to go sledding. Wrong! This morning when we all woke up it was already raining and the soft powdery snow had turned to ice that coated  the ground and the branches. I shoveled the path walk leading to the driveway with Kaitlyn watching on the sideline (porch). Kayla had no school yesterday due to the ice on the road and no girls scout as well. After the kids wen to bed tonight i asked  Ralph” is it to much to ask for another day off from school?”. At least when Kayla is off to school i can lay down for a nap with the baby. Oh well there is still time that maybe just maybe we will finally be able to go sledding with the girls.
