Wii are Family

Published by melodyschif at 12:00 am under family fun, health concerns Edit This

W e got  the Nintendo Wii game and let me just say that its a fun game for the entire family. Its also a killer if your out of shape, lol. The very first night we got the Wii we played bowling. Its realistic and you really move and use your muscles, the very next day we were all very very sore. It was like the slip n slide all over again, i could hardly go down the steps and i walk with a limp. It just wasn’t my leg it was also my arms and my back. That just told me how out of shape i was and that i really need to do something about it. Even my MIL was so sore that she could not lift her bowling arm to touch the tip of her nose. I love the Wii game since it allows us to play together as a family and we get some exercise out of it as well. We also got the Wii fit and I’m looking at loosing 6 pounds in the next week and a half. The yoga is tough since you have to be aware of your center of balance and its hard doing those pose that you know your muscles are not use to. You grunt and groan doing the simplest of pose and give out a big sigh of relief when your done.

I never thought we were going to get a Wii game since its expensive. In the long run we thought about the exercise we could get out of it plus we get to play with the whole family. Kayla loves it and keeps on playing with her Diego game, MIL loves playing bowling and shuffle board while Ralph loves to play bowling, tennis and baseball. As for me i love playing boxing, it really pumps me up and i just feel like i burn more when I’m doing boxing. I also love doing the hula hoop and tonight we just tried out the strength and endurance game in the Wii Fit game. Its tough and it feels like we really doing the work. We will see in  a couple of weeks if i will loose weight, hopefully i will.
