Finally after days of worrying, cajoling, bribing Kaitlyn is back to her old lovable, mischievous self. A couple of days ago she would not eat anything at all and if she did it would just be a bit here and there. She had no problem drinking juice or water but would not drink all of her formula which got me so worried. She also had diarrhea and pooped 5 times in one day. Seeing that her poopy was green Ralph told me that she probably has a virus in her system and she is pooping it out which is good. Just yesterday after dropping of her big sister we got home very late. I gave her a quick bath and it was then i noticed rashes all over her back, arms, chest, neck and face. I got so worried and consulted my MIL about it. We decided that if it gets worse the next day we would take her to the emergency room at AI DuPont to have her checked out. This morning the rashes are still there but they didn’t get worse but it looked like they were going down to her legs. She is however back to her old self and has been eating a lot. All of us are glad that she is finally eating and just back to her old happy self. Hopefully tomorrow her rashes would finally go away.

On the other hand it was very nice out today but both Kaitlyn and I really didn’t get to enjoy it that much as we spent most of the afternoon napping. She feel asleep at 1 p.m. and we both woke up at 4:21 p.m. It was a long nap for her and i guess her body was healing while she was sleeping. After our nap we took her out, she played int he sand box while  picked up dog poop in the backyard. After we went up front to clean the van. It was filthy with food everywhere. At least that’s done, now i need to clean my house and organize. I envy those mom out there who have such a clean, well decorated and organized house.

It snowed and it snowed some more. We finally got a good enough accumulation to take both kids sledding. However going to the big park didn’t turn out as well as we planned. It was way to cold for the baby and it was pure torture going up the hill with snow. Kaitlyn only went down the hill once with Ralph and after that off we went searching for our truck to get warm. Kayla still had fun at the big park but it was too much effort going up the hill and we decided to check out the smaller hill by our house. Kayla had more fun there and so did Kaitlyn. Kayla had no school for 2 days and we just had fun at the house playing the Wii game or out in the snow. Kaitlyn however was not so lucky, she started getting a fever the other day. Fearful that she may have another ear infection we took her to the doctors the following day. She has no ear infection. It could be her teeth coming in again, could still be an ear infection or UTI. I just hope she gets better right away.

This morning Ralph called me and said that it was going to snow and a good amount. He said probably about 3-8″ of snow. I could hear the excitement in his voice, like a child at winter time. He really wants to take his kids out sledding tomorrow if the weather will permit it. He was excited but cautious at the same time and said he will believe it when he see’s the actual amount of snow. We have been checking and checking the weather news and now its calling for 5-10″ of snow in Delaware. It started snowing shortly after 6 p.m and it has not stopped ever since. The people are preparing for the snow and when we went to Walmart they ran out of rock salt. Can you believe that? We got the water salt of something since the guy said it works that same as the rock salt only the consistency of this one is bigger. When Ralph got home from work he picked up the dog poop out in the backyard and threatened to give the dog to the pound. He hates dog poop in the backyard since our girls love playing in the back. I know this summer he will be very very pissed at his mother’s dog if her poop is not cleaned.

Hopefully the snow will keep falling so that Kayla wont have school and we can all go sledding and have some fun. If it does snow as much as they said it would this is probably the most snow i have seen since i have been here. Come tomorrow morning i know Ralph will be excited to take us to the big park for a day of sledding.

Last night i decided to let Kaitlyn sleep in our bed since there was no school the following morning. Kayla got dropped off yesterday and she will be picked up again tomorrow at 6 p.m. I was so sleepy last night while dropping my entercard i almost feel asleep doing it. I caught myself a couple of times nodding off and almost slamming my face on the computer desk. I just kept on dropping and as soon as i was done i just went straight to bed with Kaitlyn sleeping in the middle. At first it was all good but sometime in the middle of the night Kaitlyn was sleeping sideways and was hogging most of Ralph’s side of the bed. Her daddy didn’t want to disturb her by moving her back on her pillow, he wanted to sleep in the guest room. I had to move Kaitlyn myself so her daddy can have more space to sleep in. Ralph thought Kayla was a bed hog but she had nothing on Kaitlyn. The little one woke up early while her daddy was preparing going to work, since our bed is higher now i decided to bring her back in her room. We both laid down on our makeshift bed and i gave her the morning bottle and i went to sleep. The next thing i know she was sleeping. At least i got a little bit more sleep in the process and im hoping that i can sleep in again tomorrow.

Since i have started blogging i was never really interested in joining contest. One was i didn’t have the time to make a post, second i thought it was hard and third i was not interested. Snoring is one  thing that i don’t miss about my sister. She snores way to much more than any other man, a deep sleeper as well. Sharing a room with her was nice since we got to talk, laugh and share many things. The only drawback was at night when we are sleeping. Her snoring would wake me up or keep me awake and i would beg her at times to let me sleep first. There was a time that her snoring was to much for me and it infuriated me that i threw something at her face, lol. Its a good thing it was just a sock or she would have a big bump on the forehead. Now with Kaitlyn its like I’m back to sleeping with my sister. You would not believe how a child her age could snore so much. When we had a sleep over Ralph suddenly asked who was snoring and i told him it was Kaitlyn. Seeing the look on his face was priceless and i wish  had taken a picture to capture the moment. He was amazed and shook his head with a big smile on his face, he was also worried about Kaitlyn and that she might develop sleep apnea. When Kaitlyn was taken to the Emergency room last New Year’s Day the doctor who saw her said that she has huger tonsils and that we should think about having them taken out. In two more months she is going to be 18 months and again i will talk to her pediatrician about her tonsils and what her recommendation is. I just hope that if her tonsils are to come out her snoring would be cured.

* LETS GROOVE TONIGHT *

I love this song, make me want to jump up and do the groove. Love listening to music from the 60’s-80’s, its just different. Those were music that you always hear at disco houses. I was born on the last 70’s and i don’t know where i got my love for those music. Maybe those were the songs that were constantly played in our house, in the radio or on television. The songs back then was what you would call music not like today’s music where almost everyone is screaming or shouting. Even the clothes were different back then as you can see in the music video. There wasn’t much skin exposed or lots of girls grinding with skimpy clothes. It was all about the music and the singer.

Eating healthy has never been my thing. Back home i thought i ate pretty healthy since i was not fat. I use to eat like there was no tomorrow that i would have to double over after eating since i could not stand straight up from eating too much. My friends asks how i could stay as skinny as i was while eating to much. I think it was young age and my metabolism was at its peak. It was before i turned 23 yrs old that i started to gain weight really fast without me knowing it. I had been staying for almost a 2 months at my grandmother’s place for the summer and eating heavy breakfast every single day. Finally i noticed i was fat and my oh my was i shocked, lol. I lost weight by minimizing my intake of rice and leaving the table as soon as i was done eating. I lost the weight in probably less than 3 weeks. I thought i was going to get compliments from my friends but instead they got worried about my health. One even went so far as to ask if i was sick and told me that i looked better and more beautiful with a little bit of weight. You can never please anybody, lol.

Here is see most Americans eat salads at home, workplace even at the restaurant. MIL would ask me why i would not eat salad and this was my reply to her ” I’m not a cow “, i of course explained to her that since salad is green it makes me think of grass. Lately though i have been craving so much for salad with vinegar, oil and garlic as a dressing. I could eat half a lettuce at one sitting, i swear. From a girl who use to think that eating salad was for cow, i was eating more than my MIL. She said that maybe I’m pregnant that’s why I’m craving for salads since i never use to eat it. I hope it was true that I’m pregnant but i don’t think so, i wish i was.

A few days before Kayla came down with a cold, probably caught at school from one of her classmates or it could just be the weather or it could have been Ralph. At first she had the sniffles then it escalated to runny nose and hard cough. Thankfully she didn’t have a fever and that she only got a mild case of flu. A day before our Anniversary Ralph was stating to feel lousy and achy and was nursing a headache. At least he didn’t get the flu this time just the simple cold. I thought that Kaitlyn was in the clear since she has not shown any signs of getting the cold from either her dad or big sister, until tonight. I noticed she had the sniffles by early afternoon by evening i could see that she has the cold now. I just came down from putting her back to sleep, her throat is probably hurting, she sounded so awful while crying. I have her sippy cup handy when she wakes up again, give her a little sip so as to dampen her throat and have liquid in her. I just hope that she will get better right away, taking care of a sick toddler is not fun, they are cranky, whinny and very very demanding.

Waiting for some spark of idea to light up in my head, i sit here pondering about nothing. There are just time that i don’t have any clue as to what I’m doing,thinking or what to do next. I often wonder what my life was 10 years ago, when i was still young and carefree.

Ten years ago i was young, free to do anything i want. Didn’t take responsibility was to much, not thoughts of the future. I could just sleep and wake up when i wanted, dinner cooked for me by my sister and just be me. I have forgotten how it was before, my thoughts are in rambles as i wrack my brain with memories. For some reason i cant remember when i want to but if i don’t i suddenly remember. I know I’m confusing that why I’m never going to be a writer. My thoughts are everywhere and putting it in one pile is a task that i myself don’t even want to tackle. Letting my mind work as it is de-stresses me and relaxes me to a point that i don’t even know what I’m thinking next. I’m starting to confuse myself right about now so ill just end this on a good note that I’m still here, i may not be single but i am clustered with love.
